Another day starting later which is nice. I’m the only one who went down for the incredible breakfast that Hampton Inn includes. Had bacon and potato cakes this morning, fresh OJ and good coffee. The boys finally drug out at noon and we went to get them something to eat at the market (where farmers, bakers, flower sellers, etc., converse once a week). Jack got a brat and a currywurst. The boy is certainly eating interesting things this trip.
We went to visit M and she met us at the door wearing a mermaid tail. So she acted like a mermaid for awhile and I read the story, Strega Nona, to her. Then she horsed around with Jack, and then we all hit a couple of playgrounds and a gelato store before we returned her home. Looooonnnnggg afternoon and it’s hot today, although not as hot as the other day.
After dropping her off, we went to Konstablerwache and had some Asian chicken and noodles, and then Beau showed us the bar at 4 Corners he worked at for while. Jack and I had a lemonade that wasn’t a bit sweet, but interesting. Now back at the room again for another night. Going to read some Clan of the Cave Bear and crash.
