We LOVED summer when the corn came in. I remember Mom, my sister Julie, and me in the basement, scaping corn and cooking it to freeze with our cousin Jean's recipe. YUM.
6 C corn, cut and scraped
1 TB salt
3 TB sugar
1½ C hot water
1 stick butter
Bring salt, sugar, water and oleo to boil. Add corn and cook 20 min. Cool and freeze.
