Forever Ambers

From my great-aunt Ruby Rexroat.
Powdered sugar
1 lb. orange slices (candy), cut up fine
2 cans (3.5 oz) flaked coconut
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
1 Tb orange flavoring
1 tsp vanilla
1 c finely chopped pecans

Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar and mix well. Spread mixture in a lightly oiled 15x10x1.5 inch baking pan and bake 275 degrees for 230 minutes. Remove from oven and while still hot, spoon mixture into a bowl of powdered sugar. (Sifted) Better start by spooning about 1/4 of it into the side of the bowl of sugar until you see what it's like - this is really messy. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts and place on cake racks to cool.
