Ivadean’s Brownies

My cookbook would not be complete without this brownie recipe. The only one I ever make. From my Mother-in-law, Ivadean Gibson, Girdler, KY

In large saucepan melt 1 stick oleo.
Add 2 C sugar,
2 tsp vanilla,
4 eggs,
1 1/3 C flour, and
3 TB heaping cocoa or squares,
½ - 1 C nuts.
Bake at 325 for 25 min. Don't overbake - you want it gooey.

Same recipe as above, add 1 C chocolate chips. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top, then bake. Beau's tennis team at Lafayette High School actually called them something else.
