This is really good - I have found that it's equally as good when I run out of tahini. From my brother, Phil Daulton.

19 oz can chickpeas, drained (reserve liquid, about 1/4 C)
1/3 C tahini (blend before using)
2 TB lemon juice
1 TB chopped garlic
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne

Blend til smooth and creamy, serve with pita bread. 6 servings
